These two bucks jumped out in front of me last night and quickly ran off, hence the poor photos, note the new growth on their heads and the colour of the lead buck. He will have a fantastic set of antlers by the autumn.
Ive been doing a bit of tidying up in the garden, when i came across this flower,i haven't a clue what its called, but its pretty
After playing golf today i enjoyed this pint and several more ........very nice.

I don't think the Blue Bells are as good this year , but that's my thoughts. But what is for sure is how good they look when they are out.
Just a shame the have to grow up.
I enjoy the way time plays its part in the forest, this tree stump must be 50 years old ,and is now the home to fern growth and moss.Below is a photo of fern coming into growth
I came across this small family of boar last night, but it was too dark to take any photos ,so i went back this morning, and after a while they came out to moot in the bluebell roots.
The top photo is of Polperro harbour, a lovely little place that i had to walk through on the coast path. The bottom photo is of the mouth to Polperro harbour . I had my lunch were i took this photo, , food never tasted so nice.
We have been away for a few days ,back down to Cornwall walking different sections of the south west coast path. I love the remoteness of some of the coast paths. This photo is a few miles east of the Lizard.
It was thought that the wild boar in the forest, would with their mooting , ruin the bluebells and wild garlic on the floor of the forest. This bed of garlic below has been dug up by the boar for the last 4 years that i know of and its done no harm what so ever. And it smells lovely (If you like the smell of garlic )
There was not a lot about this morning, after my hospital appointment, but you can always rely on the squirrels to turn up and feed.
