SOME SORT OF VULTURE

I dont know what sort of bird this is, but i do know im not comfortable with a bird of this size being confined to a caged area. I know they are well looked after and a lot of the birds are flown everyday, but i cant imagine a bird this size flying to command.I think they should remain in the wild to fly free.

  2. It is wonderful. Many are rescued birds so can't survive on their own. At least i hope they are.

  4. Super image Peter. I guess if they're bred in captivity it's not too bad, but if they're taken from the wild then it's a whole new issue, and not one I agree with!...[;o)

  6. It is not my favorite bird, but your picture is great, Peter. I agree, this species must fly free. But maybe he was born in captivity and not able to provide in his necessity of life. Greetings, Joke

  7. I agree...however, many of our birds here in our wild life park were injured and can't go back into the wild but our guests think that we have clipped their wings to keep them in the park...so sometimes there is more to the story as to why they are in captivity..but again, I agree...if they are healthy and able they should be free...what a beautiful bird.
