Peter, this is brilliant. I will criticise. Use quick fades and learn to talk or get someone else to rather than use titles. Titles come at the front and at the end, I half know half how to do it. I watch country file... Stunning is their editing. You are better at spotting the frames that are relevant than I am. It is a mega learning curve and we are up against mega artists. I'm just a Muppet who thinks it's fun. A great job.
You may have incorporated the first still into your titles you could have picked a wee bit and let it zoom out. With the title scrolling up. Plenty of pixels to play with. CS6 of any non linear editor lets you do this. Don't get hooked as you will be looking at mega file sizes and mega bucks to control them. Still a grand bit of work. Congratulations.
i think you did great. nice transitions. i did freak out for a second when i saw the cars on the wrong side of the road. ;) loved the clickety-clack of the train on the tracks.
HI Peter Thanks for restoring the video again. It was very good however I do agree with Adrian about titles and end. Do something like I do. I also think that you should talk in the video rather than use text. that is too distracting. You CAN do that, Loved the train sound. Also the way when the train was approaching and then you turn (very smoothly) round to get it from behind. Excellent.
Well done with a great 'first' video Peter. I guess it won't be too long now before we see a full feature length production? It was lovely to see the old engine going at full chat...[;o)
Very nice and pretty darn good for a first go at video! One little criticism though... You must have had the memory stick in upside down or something, all the cars were driving on the wrong side of the road! :)
