DOWN BY THE RIVER SEVERN

This a view looking up the river Severn towards Gatcombe. Its said that Sir Francis Drake stayed at Gatcombe (a small port ) while looking for Oak tree's for boat building

On my way back from the river i passed these two fine beasts, sorry about the bar in the picture, its funny how you don't notice things like this when you take the photo. Ah well !!

  4. Hi there - that last shot of the cow is splendid - it would not be as good without the fence. Had a look at some other posts - how long have there been wild boars back in the forest?

  5. Hello Stewart, thanks for looking at my posts, as i say im new to cameras so not all that i take is any good. The boar, well they have been in the Forest of Dean for around 10 years.A lot of people have not seen them, but i enjoy my meetings with them.
