EASTER REFLECTIONS

It was warmer outside my home than in today, the boiler wont be fixed till tomorrow.

Enjoy your Easter break, i hope it warms up, as my central heating boiler has failed to start this morning.At least my Easter eggs wont melt.

THE SOUTH WEST COAST PATH ( the last photos till September)

 The great thing about walking the coast path is , how quiet it is, just the noise of the waves and the wind, oh and heavy breathing when walking up steep climbs

AND THESE ARE GRANITE FENCES THAT LEAD DOWN TO THE FARM WE STAYED AT, THEY MUST WEIGH A TONNE EACH!!!

ST AGNUS HEAD ....CORNWALL

This is a photo of my wife taking a break from cliff walking last week. This part of the coast path has a lot of steep climbs on it and at our age, it starts to tell. But the views are fantastic when you do stop for rest. At this point we still had 7 miles to go.

WHERE'S MY CARROTS

Taken yesterday, this is one of the horse's at the top of my garden waiting for his daily feed of carrots. I hope the weather improves as i have 4 days of walking next week on the cornish coast path.

FROG OR TOAD SPAWN ?

A walk through Farmers Green the other day showed that the frogs or the toads have been busy. Nice to see.

As i may have said before, sheep in the Forest of Dean are allowed to roam free and do get on the roads and people's gardens and can cause a lot of damage to your flowers and vegetables and your car if they get knocked down.

THIS A SHORT FILM OF A STEAM TRAIN THAT CAME THROUGH LYDNEY LAST SUMMER, IT JUST PULLED OUT OF THE STATION ON ITS WAY BACK TO LONDON.



THIS WAS MY 1ST USE OF THE FILM MODE ON MY CAMERA, AND WAS A SHORT LIST  FOR AN OSCAR.

It's been a nice afternoon,with the sun out. The down side is,being a weekend ,far to many people are about on bikes and making a lot of noise.  I like peace and quiet every time..

The last few weeks have been cold and windy but has dried the ground up enabling the farmers to get on to what has been very wet fields.
