Peter, if it's clumped together like this it's Frog Spawn. Toad Spawn is in long, double or triple, strings. I hope it survives the predicted cold spell!...[;o)
Trevor is correct it is frog spawn. Toads are a bit daft they lay spawn in wet tractor ruts. I'm forever scooping it up into the dogs crap bags and popping it in ponds.
