Hello. I came across you through the comments on Adrian's blog and was drawn by your name - Forest Snapper. I live in Dorset and have a hedgerow blog called Loose and Leafy. Each year I 'follow' a particular tree through the year, posting about it irregularly through the seasons. Several other bloggers do the same. I'm experimenting with a Linky box as a way of making it easier for people to find and read each other's posts. I'm wondering if you might like to join us. My most recent post - http://tinyurl.com/oxxh3am explains Tree Following. If you are interested, do take a look.

ReplyDeleteGreat shot, Peter. Have a nice weekend. Greetings from the Netherlands, Joke
ReplyDeleteP.S.: I hope your area is not flooded. The images on TV of the South of the UK are awful.
Hi Peter The bird is a Linnet. A Twite would have a more yellow face and a paler bill. Great shot though.
ReplyDeleteHi Peter, I think it's a linnet.
ReplyDeleteI can not see well, but I think so.
Greetings,
