GREATER KNAPWEED ?

I think this may be Greater Knappweed, but feeel free to say if you think it may be anything other.

  2. Nice detailed image Peter. Sorry (chaps) but it's not a Knapweed but a Creeping Thistle (cirsium arvense)!..great shot tho'...[;o)

  6. My first thoughts were: a thistle, but since I cannot see the leaves and the branching of the stem, it's hard to say what species it is. But never mind, it's a beautiful picture anyway, Peter. Greeting, Joke
