This farmer is spreading muck onto the field via a large blue pipe. The muck is from the large milking parlour and is pumped through the pipe, across the fields to the tractor who spreads it over the grass.LINKING TO THERESA @ GOOD FENCES
Well I learn something new every day! Pretty interesting way to spread much around. We have sort of the same version here...only it's chicken poop...LOL! And I'll bet it smells a whole lot worse than the muck this truck is spreading. :)
Hello, great farm scenes and fence shots. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and the weekend ahead!
ReplyDeletehadn't seen it done this way before. pretty neat how new technology changes 'fertilizing'. :)
ReplyDeleteCool. I love these pictures. I can smell it! I grew up in a farming village and you makes my memory alive.

ReplyDeleteSome people get all the best jobs...better to be spreading that than a cocktail of chemicals!...[;o)
ReplyDeleteWell that was interesting. - I'm not sure I'd want "muck" spread around but it must be necessary to the farming operation.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very upmarket muck spreader compared to what we use!
